My Rant about Bullying and Teen Suicide

My Rant about Bullying and Teen Suicide

I hate and you probably hate that too BULLIES….Bullying has been climbing up the ladder to being the leading cause of suicide in Canada and America. In my opinion I have no respect for people that bullied others. What I don’t understand is that how many suicide does it take for the society to realize that what they say have an impact on others. In Canada every year 300 people decide to commit suicide because of bulling, that’s a big number. When I go outside my house I see people being bullies every when and mostly at school. When you and your friends bullies a person(s) you guys might thing its funny but if that person makes a bad decision and commit suicide you won’t be laughing anymore plus what if that was your brother or sister. Think about that... how you would feel if someone you loved suicide because they were bullied. Bullying has become a major issue because when bigger kids bullied smaller kids by don’t ask for help for an adult and when they do ask an adult they thing it will get better by itself and not do anything about it. Bullying would not be an issue if the bullied was stopped at the right time, unfortunately but people allowed bullies to victimize others and they continued to making fun of others thinking that it’s OK.
Another that really bothers is that when in our classroom we talk about bullies and how it could be stop, everyone agrees that they have been bullies at some point in their lives but when teacher ask the kids what kind of thing they (bullies) say? And for example someone would say that they been called bad names or hurt by bullies everyone else in the class would laugh at his/her thinking it funny. This affect that kid that everyone is laughing because he/she did not find it funny when the bully where bullying them and this also affect the kids in the class room because they think it would be funny to make fun of others because everyone else in the class was laughing.  We need to take some matter more serious in life because if you walking around bulling everyone, one day someone you will beat you  then you’ll know how it feel to bully other.

I trying to tell everyone let their problems go because bulling someone else won’t make you feel any better. I am suggesting that before you trash someone else because of jealousy or disdain, stop and think about how you would feel if someone bullied you. Be professional and do what is right, not just for yourself. Show unity, show respect, and be a positive leader and not a follower. Don’t bully anyone and if you are a bystander have the courage to stand up for what’s right.

The Two Competitive Neighbors

                                      The Two Competitive Neighbors

Once upon a time, there was a village called Bakewell. In the village there was a boy named Abraham. He was very hard working and always earning the highest marks in his classes. Abraham lived with father who worked as a lawyer and his mother who was a nurse working in a hospital. Abraham knew that growing up in a tough family with doctors and lawyers he would be pressured to do well in school so he would sit all night and study for tests and the hard work paid off because he would get the highest marks in class. Although Abraham was doing well in school but there was a course that Abraham struggled with and it was Math. One bright morning Abraham woke up, and was about to get ready for school but soon he realized that it was a Saturday so here went back to sleep. As his eyes were about to close he heard a loud truck sound like coming from outside so he decided to look through his window to see what was making such loud noise. When Abraham was looking through the window he saw a big truck, that said “NEED TO MOVE, RENT NOW” Abraham realized that he was going to have new neighbors.

Abraham quickly went downstairs to tell his parents about the big news. Abraham was very anxious to meet the new neighbors but his dad told his that he needed to give some time so that they can get settled. That afternoon the doorbell rang and Abraham opened the door “Hello my name it john, this is my wife Sophia, and our son Joseph. We just moved in next door” giving Abraham a basket of fruits. Abraham called his dad when did dad came to the door he said “nice to meet, please come on in” the John family went inside their house and talked for a while. They talked about the neighborhood and the school that Abraham attended so the Joseph could attend the same school. They two families spent some time with each other and Abraham family invited the new neighbors for dinner on Sunday. Next day, the new neighbors came over for dinner, everything went well at dinner but Abraham noticed that Joseph was very polite and was eating like a gentleman that bothered him because when Abraham ate he would eat with his hands and make a big mess kind of like a caveman so he stared using a spoon and fork. When dinner was over and John family returned home while Abraham family cleaned the dishes.

The next morning, Abraham got ready and went off to school. After a few hours the bell rang indicating that it was time for the next class and it was math class for Abraham during the lesson there was a knock on the classroom door when everyone looked, it was the principle. The teacher wrote some question on the board and told the class “try these example questions and if you have question we will take them up together” then he went to talk to the principle. “Listen up students! We have a new student in our classroom; please welcome Joseph”. The classes welcomed the Joseph and he sat down at his desk.

The first day Joseph didn't talk much but when he started talking, he was answering all questions. Abraham soon realized that there was a composition in the class between his and Joseph. When class was over it was time for the last class of the day and it was science class. Abraham was very good at science but Joseph did not say much the entire class, Abraham realized Joseph weakness. After some time it was exam time and other Abraham and Joseph were doing well but Abraham was weak in math while Joseph was weak in science. When the day of the examination came, they both studies hard so that they can proof to each other that they are smarter than one another. They went to their science class for the exam, when the teacher gave them their test, Abraham finished his test and put his exam on the teachers’ desk, but on his way back to his desk he throws ink in Joseph exam paper. The two started fighting and were both sent to the principal office. In the principal office, the two told the principle that they were having compaction on who were going to get the highest mark in the class. The principle told them that they both had failed the exam and will get a second chance next week, and in addition to that he advised them that instead of fighting why not help each other do better. They both agree to help each other and when the exam result came, they got the same average.

A Few Quotations that Motivate Me

A Few Quotations that Motivate Me
#1
“The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.” This quote is by Albert Einstein- Most knows Einstein but for those who don’t he was a German-born theoretical physicist. Einstein developed the General theory of relativity and is well known for his mass–energy equivalence (E=MC2). This quote is really important to me and everyone else because our world is full of evilness. By me saying evilness, I mean people are doing thing wrong such as killing each other, starting wars, and other criminal behaviour. This is because when someone is does something wrong, Nobody steps in and tell the person that they are doing something wrong that makes it dangerous. This makes me think that we are all guilt in the aspect of not doing anything making us equally evil. Just as the modern day philosopher Martin Luther King Jr. said “he who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it”. Meaning if we accept the evil we are just at fault. Relating to our modern world how we don’t step up or take action during the time of Hitler and other evil people therefore we are equally responsible for what has happen. This Quote motivates me to step in when other(s) are doing harmful activities.

“I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion'.” This quote is by Muhammad Ali. The meaning of the quote is that if you work hard, now you will be happier in the future. This Quote is very meaning full for students because most student want to take the easy way out in school, for example a student won’t do his/her homework and hand-in work on time so chances are they will fail but if they had finish the homework and hand-in thing on time they would he good marks likewise they will find a good careers. In summary if you work hard and you will be successful. After reading this quote it motivated me to try my best in school and everything else.

“The future is uncertain but the end is always near.”This quote is by Jim Morrison. He was an American singer- songwriter and poet, best remembered as the lead singer of Los Angeles rock band The Doors”. This is really important for me because it plays a big role on my life. I want so much time to do projects, but all the time I get I still leave it to the last minute. It makes me think how we can use that time wisely how much we could get accomplished. It has allowed me to think more carefully about time and make the most out of it. Relating to the modern world, we want so much extra time to either do work, or sleep, because we use all the extra time we have horribly. This Quote motivated me to get thing done ahead of time.
